We are also pleased to introduce Dr. Peter Vogel, who will be joining our practice. He is the son of the late Dr. Eric Vogel, who was beloved by many of our patients. Dr. Peter Vogel is committed to continuing his father's legacy, providing exceptional dental care and building strong patient relationships.

Dr. Peter Vogel brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for dentistry to our practice. He is dedicated to staying abreast of the latest advancements in dental treatments through continuous learning and professional development. Dr. Vogel completed his undergrad at BYU and completed his
dental training at the University of Utah, graduating near the top of his class. He met his lovely wife at BYU and together they have two wonderful children, Lewis and Amelia. In his free time, Dr. Vogel enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, skiing, playing ping-pong, and experiencing new destinations and cultures through travel.

As we bid farewell to Dr. Carlson and welcome Dr. Peter Vogel, we are excited for the future. Dr. Vogel's expertise and warm personality will ensure an exceptional dental experience. Please reach out with any questions you may have. Our team is dedicated to a seamless transition and meeting your oral health needs.

Today there are many possibilities for enhancing and caring for your smile. Our experienced and friendly staff will help you discover the best options for you.

"Dr. Merkley and Brooke, the hygienist, were both fantastic, helpful, and sincere. They took lots of time to show me what is going on with my teeth and old fillings and explaining the treatment options and the costs/benefits/risks of those options. They answered my many questions and helped me make good informed decisions about my treatment. They were both very conscientious and open and it gave me great confidence that I was not being taken advantage of, but rather receiving terrific dental care. I'm a big fan! - Eric H.

"I love Dr. Merkley and all the employees there. I have been going there for a few years now, and they know me and my family all by name and ask how they are doing. Also extremely professional staff, who won't do any work unless its actually necessary." - Harry

Dr. Merkley worked with Dr. Vogel as a dentist and as an assistant in college. Dr. Merkley is excited to take over the ideals and work ethic that Dr. Vogel instilled in him. "I learned the best way to treats patients by watching Dr. Vogel for years. Every decision I make as a dentist is based on a belief in doing what is best for my patients." - Dr. Merkley

Doctor Vogel and his staff always seem to care about me and my dental needs. If they can't meet my needs, they refer me to someone who can. Best overall dental care that I have had.

    Barbara L.

I arrived for my regular check-up and found the usual pleasant and friendly staff ready to take care of me ... and this welcoming atmosphere, combined with a most professional approach to the clinical part of the appointment, made for what I have come to expect from the staff at Vogel Dental. I am always impressed by these good people!

MERKLEY and staff also inserted bone grafting, and antibotic. They sutured up the hole. Very professional with a great friendly bedside manner. I would recommend them as a 10+.

I love Dr. Merkley and his team!! I have never felt so included in my dental care before nor have I ever felt so well taken care of. They allowme to see my teeth and what is happening with them and they tell me exactly what they are going to do during my appointment. I moved two hours away and I tried a new dentist there, but I was not able to find the level of care there that Dr. Merkley provides so I make the 2 hour drive every time I need to see the dentist. I highly highly recommend going to Merkley Dental!!

Dr. Merkley is a professional, caring and extremely knowledgeable dentist. I have had a lot of dental issues over the years and Dr. M has always made me feel comfortable about asking questions and has always explained everything in detail about the best treatment options. Also both receptionists are fantastic. Whether calling to make an appointment or requiring help with billing they are both courteous and professional. I have absolutely no problem recommending this dental practice. If I could give more stars I would!!!!!

I've been going to this dentist office since I was a wee little lad. They've always treated me and my family well, and for that I am a loyalcustomer! Shout out to Nan, Greg, and everyone there who have made this place feel like home. Rest in peace Dr. Vogel! And thank you for all your charity work and everything you've done for me, my family, and people around the world... Your legacy lives on!
